I am replacing a few sections of brake pipe but when I remove a section (to get it measured up for replacement) the remaining union leaks fluid. I have tried bunging it with newspaper/rags but it still leaks through. Any ideas on how to bung it properly? That brake fluid is VERY viscous stuff!
Note: The reason I hadn't fully drained it was because I read you shouldn't let the fluid go below the MIN mark...

Hi,
I'm fitting a new toilet in the bathroom, and looking at the cistern which has come pre-fitted, the water inlet seems to have a blue bung like thing with a thread in it... Is this supposed to be here or do I need to remove it before connecting it up?
Thanks!
Hi, Yes I am talking about the water inlet connection. The blue bung thread is about half an inch inside the pipe.
Ahh ok - The pressure is entirely from the water tank in the roof. The toilet is on the ground floor. So there is a 2 floor difference in the two... Do you think that the pressure will be sufficient? Or is this really only used for mains pressure?

My barrel keg's hole is too big to hold the cork, tightly? Is there some way to make the hole smaller, I can't find a bigger cork?
